Well, I knew Shimmer would make a love connection, and he did,
a lovely woman in our riding club has a pair of gaited horses, and hers is arthritic, so she is looking for a new one to start... her husband just is loving his newly trained 6 year old Walking Horse, and Holli learned a lot from the trainer, so they are ready for a new one...
I described Shimmer, they came the following week to look and off they went this morning!!!
they have his paddock all newly graded and bedded, they love his neighbors, and she is so anxious to let him play with his new brother!!!
here he is saying bye-bye....
to Rakush, our rescue old stallion (in his 30's)
and as he got to the bottom of the hill by the trailer...
then all loaded up and ready to go!!!
We're gonna miss him....
