We did it!!!!! (Yes, another GD puppy!)

No, I'm not swearing......

We picked up Guide Dog puppy #2 to raise and train a couple of weeks back.

Her name is Tiki (yeay, another good name instead of some of those God aweful ones some are saddled with) and she and Sakura hit it off day one. She kept trying to nurse off of Sakura, and Sakura kept letting her. They finally stopped that last week....

Sakura is adjusting to not going to work every day. Once she's trustworthy, hubby will take her to work as well.

Tiki is a little spitfire. Very vocal (I think some G Shepherd genese snuck in somewhere) and extremely smart and stubborn. I met her mom's raiser, and she apparently was/is the same way, so maybe this little girl has what it takes to be a guide or a breeder.

These pics are from when we picked her up at 9 weeks. She's 12 weeks today!

I wasn't sure what GD stood for. Thought maybe it stood for "G*d-d*mn", which is what my sweetheart would say if another puppy turned up at my house.
Tiki is adorable! A gal I know recently went to a guide dogs graduation and she said that she didn't last 30 seconds before she was weepy. What a great thing for you and your family to do!

Come on up Corrinne!!!!!!! She'll have it for a while yet.

There IS nothing cuter than a Lab puppy - of any color!

Oh, and Sakura is totally trustworthy...I meant once this little nugget is a letter better on her house training Scott can take her to work so Sakura can be reunited with her "boyfriend" Tahoe........he works in the next office.

This girl is fearless....if she somehow doesn't make it as a Guide Dog (and right now, I'm thinking she's got what it takes) then I've got my riding buddy. Unlike Sakura, she LOVES the horses!!!
