Hey all - I just joined the Gig Harbor YMCA and thought I would check and see if anyone on here works out there??? Hunny and I work out there in the mornings 3-4 days a week(4:45am ahhhhh) but, wanted to do a few of the classes and whatnot and thought I woudl see if there was another gal on here that wanted to partner up :
Anyone???

Would love to do some classes. I'm at the Y Tuesday and Thur for kids swim lessons from 3:30-4:15 I was thinking of swimming before. I have done a few of the water classes and a yoga class. Let me know what classes you want to do and I will see if I can make it.

SWEET - I do Pilates on Wed. morning from 5-6am and then do the elipticals for 20 minutes. I also do lap swim a couple days a week from 4:30am to 6ish generally. I was also planning to start doing water aerobics on MWF from 8-9am. I would LOVE to try begining Zumba too - watched one of those classes and it looked like a BLAST!!! I was also looking at doing some of the spin cycle classes. I was also looking at a couple of the classes at the women's fitness place over on Pt. Fosdick....
Would any of those work for you.

I can do the water aerobics for sure. Not sure I can wake up that early for the rest but can give it a try. Hubby leaves for work at 7 so that would give me time to get home. Next week we are on vacation but not going any were so we can try a few things. I'm really out of shape so I'm not sure I could do the spin class but he rest sounds fun. Let me know when and were you are going to be next week and I will show up! I have been looking for a Y buddy. My sister-in-law and I just did a 2 mile walk at banner forest with the kids not fun.

Trust me - I am WAY out of shape too lol. I am starting slow and steady. I actually came down with some kind of icky stomach thing - so didn't hit the gym last night or this morning. Hunny is with me in the mornings so if that doesn't work that is no problem Wanna try for water aerobics starting next week? ? Sara

hey-guys-sorry to jump on your ship here-you ging to the horse forum Friday? I stopped by the auditors office yesterday and only 15 people had responded-they are wanting to share resources/get community volunteers and put a stop to abuse/neglect of horses-I am happy the county is wanting to be proactive on this-but they need boots on the ground to really be effective with this.
