May I introduce Stuart. He came from an abusive background, we think he had been beaten, and he apparently had a few broken ribs when the previous owner got him.
They loved him very much but were unable to take care of him, they are living in an apartment, and the wife was handicapped, and could not take him for walks, and he is a high-energy 8-month old puppy.
Here he has our 2 year old mutt to play with. They have not stopped running and wrestling since Friday night. He definitely does have a lot of issues we need to work on. But he is trying very hard, and he is a very good, and very sweet little boy.

the couple who got him from the rescue, said the rescue told them he was a boston Terrier mix. He is way to tall for that though. He does seem to have the Ridgeback stripe, just depending on the light. He is about as tall as a small Lab, and right now weighs about as much as a Chihuahua (okay maybe 2). I don't think he'll get any taller, but I hope he does fill out a bit more.
He is coming along very nicely, and is starting to trust us a lot more and lets us pet him, and even starts to snuggle a bit.

he's a cutie swissgrl. sounds like you got the best of all breeds like my pup is. We are still trying to figure out what's all in him. we think he may have some cat and kangaroo in his bloodlines.........
