The Bay Meadows racetrack, near San Francisco, closed its doors this week, and everything is up for auction this weekend, starting today, Saturday 8/23.
As much as I detest horse racing, this track will be replaced with ... guess what ... 1,500 condos ... ugh! Now that's progress!!
On the block are some phenomenal items, including photographs of racing legends such as Seabiscuit, Lost In The Fog, etc.
