19 YR. old (16.2hh) American saddlebred mare, she has been in the hills hunting, packing elk & deer, & trail ridding. Gun shots do not bother her, she is well broke, easy to trim / shoe, load, bath, clip, saddle and bridle. will trade e-mail me with what you have to offer for trade, no other horses please. Sad. What a beautiful mare!

My first horse was a Saddlebred-QHX. He'd been a packhorse in the Mendocino National Forest area. He was a great all-around horse and a wonderful kids' horse.

Sounds like a nice mare- here's the response I got.
"I do have her, there is nothing wrong with her joints, teeth, legs, sight, she looks and acts younger than her age. an intermedite rider would fit her better than a beginer rider,as she has go to her. she can be led around with kids on her, but I would not recommend letting a child rider her by themselves out of the round pen. She is fast and lots of go to her. I haven't found any behavioral problems with her. Thanks."
I sent an email back about the risks of sending her to auction- but sounds like they want her gone. I am actually five hours away and pretty much at my limit of horses right now-
anybody else closer that might have room for a nice mare like this?
