My daughter Erica went to her first dressage show they did really good on there Pas de it was really good. She had been working really hard with our trainers little pony for her Intro test and the pony was doing really great but yesterday she did not want to leave her buddies to go do the test and she was a real beast so that was not so fun. But we still had a really good day and it was a nice show. Here are a couple of pictures of her on the pony. Tina

She is 8 hands of pure rotten pony . She is harder to ride than any of the big horses at our trainers barn but she is sooo cute and my daughter loves riding her. She is quite the challenge. No ponies for us. We were given a really nice 11 yr. old paint that does pony club and knows dressage so now she has her own horse to use for next time. Thanks

Ponies can be such little shits! That is the cutest thing I've seen in a long time. Congratulations. How exciting. She'll always remember her first show.

Those pictures are just too cute beyond belief!
Take as many pictures as you can and save every horse show ribbon and momento ... these wonderful mother-daughter times will go by waaaaay too fast, enjoy every second!
The smile on her face is pure joy. Adorable!

I was just reading in a coffee table book of horses and horse traditions around the world that in Ireland, when a pony is sold, the last child's riding jacket is passed to the new kid with a penny in the pocket for good luck. I love that!
8 hands! No wonder she has an attitude - she says "Stop calling me cute!"
