Serafini is a sweet horse, loves attention, brushing and all...But at dinner time lays her ears back and charges, kicks, bites,,,Can't let kids with her (when eating) as she knocks them down with a chest push... We all try to interact with all the horses, but as soon as you get to her, she become aggresive...Tryed rubbing her down with a glove on the end of a wipe, didn't kick... Any Ideas? ..............chatty

She's alpha. In a big area where she is by herself, put out hay, go in with her with a short whip and take her pile. Go in with the intent to work her and the hay is just an obstacle. Don't hit her with the whip (unless she comes after you, of course). The goal is to get her to move off and move past the hay unless you give her permission. You probably want to work on this without the hay first and when you feel like she is moving when and where you want her to, add the hay. Carolyn Resnik's "Waterhole Rituals" are great for this: www.dancewithhorses.com
