We have been super busy here, with me going back to work (At a small/large animal vet) working 5-6 days a week, Pony Club, Play days and squeezing in a home life (forget social).....I came down with Strep throat, have been sick the last week....a blessing to my DH I am sure...Kaycee has been gaming quite a bit and did an open show at OHC on Mike. They have been placing quite highly at gaming, and not so much with the rail work...I think she got a 5th
;D Mikey is soooo not a pleasure type horse! They also went to the Pony Club Halloween party, both were TYE DYED to the max....Kaycee looked darling with her little jeans that Grandma sliced and added fabric from the 70's into the insert. We sprayed Mike's entire body with hair dye, then put a baseball cap on him that was Tye-dyed with the neck cover flap thingy hanging down. He was also sporting a huge beaded scarf we made out of the same material as Kaycee's pants, a huge amount of beaded necklaces and a Peace sign necklace the size of a pizza plate. We then painted 'PEACE' and 'LOVE' with hearts and peace signs all over him, painted his 4 hooves different psychedelic colors and tied a scarf around his ankle. It was hilarious! They won first in the 'Most colorful' category! Will have to post pics.....
I haven't been avoiding the boards, and sometimes do get on for a moment to see how everyone is doing....
I rescued 2 kittens that had been riding around in an engine of a car, both had Giardia and Toxidia. Both were supposed to be barn cats and now are sleeping with us at night (Now nice and healthy after quartine) I have had 2 other ferals show up in my barn, which I trapped and had neutered last week........I was complaining about mice and 'poof'! all of these cats show up! I took Misty and Mikey in to Dr. Violet to have their teeth/wellness checks done last Saturday. Dr. Violet instantly fell in love and wanted to know my trick on keeping them so shiny and healthy looking at their age....I rattled off what I feed and his eyeballs glazed over.....Ok, I am very anal, but my ridiculous concoction works wonders! AND, he used some of my ideas in his presentation last week so there! Misty is old as dirt, has barely any teeth left, (I knew this) and is so shiny and pretty!! Except her head, she likes to roll....(She's white) Mike is a pistol, and is feeling better after his float/ sheath clean! He is ready to run! They have a horse show tomorrow night at OHC with Pony Club......It will be bareback equitation and judges command. We will see how he does....last time he was a complete butt head! Anyway, I am rattling on....Just wanted to let you all know what was going on...........

We have been so busy it's crazy! We went from painting the house to me working 50+ hours a week....ugh! The horses are all doing so great, and the Appy Annie is a fat pig sigh**** I need to find a dry lot to put her on, she is so big.......My 'Dry lot' has way too much grass......always something........
