A couple years back my Mom and I rescued 4 appaloosa fillies, all around 2 years old. The one my Mom kept for herself was Rose Quartz, whom she calls Rosie. She and my little brother broke her to ride. She was easy, easy and never bucked. She's very colorful and I'm trying to get my mom to send me some pics. Like alot of people she is having some hard times and needs to rehome some, if not all of her horses. She has 3. I would love to see my Mom get a little money for Rosie. She is as calm as can be in all sorts of situations. Loves kids and very safe. No vices, but can be difficult to load in a 2 horse straight load. I'd still call her greenbroke, as she needs finishing, but has never done a mean thing. Her original fee was $575 (plus shipping from WA to AZ). Now she lives near Marysvale UT. Can anyone offer a home to this sweet gaited appaloosa mare? She'd like to find her a good home in the next couple of weeks, and it's just too costly to drive her to my house from Utah. Plus I've got my hands full with what I've got. I had to turn that guy away with that blk/wht TWH weaving stud. Feel free to email me cemcclendon@yahoo.com

Ok, here's the original Cber pic. She is the one on the far right. Terrible picture, does not do her justice, but she was the sweetest, calmest one in the group. She changes colors with the seasons. Still waiting to get a current pic of her. My mom can probably meet someone possibly halfway for gas money, but she does still work 6 days a week.

I mentioned this on the other board, but if my mom could get $375 for her, then she could afford to buy hay and keep her other horses. I'd hate for her to have to give them all up. She's still just as horse crazy as I am;) Please let me know if you know of Anyone, near Utah preferably, can give her a good home. I think she matured to about 15.2, but I'll check and be sure. She is a "ready to go" trail horse.

Well my Mom has given her mini to a therapuetic riding program(they will be gelding him of course) and she gave her Quarab to a girl at church. Is anyone interested in Rosie? I know there are free horses everywhere, but at least we know most of her history, she's completely sound and healthy and is broke.
