The baby's name is Miwok and the mother is Angel Wings. Angel Wings was pregnant when she was adopted by Rich of Novato,CA in Feb 07.

Yes, that is Angel Wings! Sharon and her husband delivered her with Caliente to California. I will never forget those eyes! I opened the door and all I saw were her beautiful eyes.

is this the baby boy that had to be pts cause he broke his leg? ,, is this the same horse?
It is with a heavy heart and many tears that I am writing to all of our friends and family. Last night a stray dog got into our pasture and chased our horses and caused our beloved Miwok to run into a peeler core and it sheered off and cut up his under side and a very serious punture wound near his sheath deep enough and serious enough to warrant a trip to UC Davis at 2:00am, we got there and they needed to do a little surgery which they could not do until another Dr. got there at 8:00am so they gave him a lite seditive and told us to go home because they wanted to keep him over night to administer antibotics after the surgery while in recovery Miwok tried to stand up and fell and broke his leg bad enough that he had to be put down. Please keep my darling daughter Katelyn in your thoughts and prayers this was her first horse, she grew up with him, he was her soul partner (and for those of you who have horses know what I am talking about).

No, not the same horse. This horse was not a CBER horse. Miwok was much older. I am just going to delete my post because I don't want people to think I'm misleading them into thinking it is this CBER baby. I am glad to say it is NOT this precious baby that had to be put to sleep.
I really don't know how this little guy got mixed into my post for asking for help for my friend.

I think the confusion came because both horses are named Miwok. And, you post re: your friend's horse the non-CBER Miwok came at about the same time that Barbpurple posted asking about the identity of baby Miwok. So, both horses named "Miwok" hit the boards at about the same time. And, although Miwok was a baby summer of '07, he won't be a baby now.
