if it's Norco, definitely have someone check it first, Trina Kenney does a lot of scamming in that city

By googling, 'Elizabeth Crouse, peruvian horses'........I got a 'Rosecreek Farms, on Valley View Rd in Norco. She has 3 horses advertised- 2 are priced reasonably- $3500 and something similar, but the mare she has....the breeding shown is excellent........but she's 6- not broken, and she says the woman SHE got her from won't sign the papers so the mare is not registered...therefore offering her cheap.....I don't care, because I'm not going to breed her, but the woman is odd, in that she won't give me her' Vet's name to get a check done. At least she hasn't responded since Friday.......maybe she's out of town.

Looks like she checks out-is with 2 registries. I had a hard time finding a vet in that area that would make a house call. That is weird, a red flag I would say, if she won't give you her vets name. I always give a prospective buyer my vet's number and recommend pre-purchase exams, and to call him up and ask any questions about my horses...Good luck!! Can she send you a video?

I think I'm about 1.5 hours from Norco. I know somebody in Riverside that runs a small rescue, Riverside is closer to Norco, maybe she can recommend a vet in that area?

Today, she sent me HER Vet's name, altho she said she prefers to use outside Vets for purchase exams- and she sent 3 other names..........so I'll try those.

I guess I could understand having a different vet do the purchase exam, but can she authorize releasing the horse's vet records at the regular vet to you?
How's your poopy little boy doing, btw?

I expect she can authorise HER Vet to do that- yes. Certainly I could find out if the mare is current on Vaccs. But she's only just reclaimed the mare from a buyer who quit paying the installments. And I think they had her for several months. She likes to use other vets for the pre-purchase because of Conflict of interest...I can understand that. My 'poopy' boy..........stopped being 'poopy' the day before I started the 5-day Panacure powerpac..........and 5 days later, is STILL clean. So I STILL cannot for the life of me work out what makes him runny. And I'm all prepared now, to start him on the VitaRoyal program.....and now I don't know whether to start or keep him on his normal supplements.
