We are looking for a few good kids to help out with the horses for HyTyme's Free Lease Program. In Clackamas County and the surrounding areas.
The child must be a 4-H, FFA, WASET or OHSET member and have a leader ready to work with them.
What HyTyme is offering.....
We would like to offer the 4-H members a free lease training project. We have many horses that would be great used in 4-H and need some training, we believe they would make good projects for the 4-H members. We would like to offer a free lease to 4-H members of horses we have selected for projects, in exchange they work with the horses and get them more training and experience. We would be happy to lease the horses to members at our farm (where they would have access to our 80X100 indoor arena, and trail around our 70 acres) . In the event they would like to free lease at our barn we just require they come with an adult for supervision while they work with their project horse and they follow the barn rules. At the end of their show season the 4-H member would have the option to adopt their project horse, or if they choose not to, the horse will be offered for adoption through the rescue. We believe this would be a win/win situation for the 4-H members and the horses that need some time and training.
