I saw on the news yesterday, looks like a pretty dang good storm. I've shuffled horses around so everybody can stay in the dry. Mustangs are not to happy to be locked inside the barn, and arab is not happy to have lost his stall.... Ohh well. We have a river flowing through the property, hopefully with this rain, we'll have some grass grow, and can save up on the hay. Stay warm up there.

I just wish we would get enough to play in for a day and be able to stay at home from work. I went to work yesterday and had over 3 inches, then it started to rain in Graham so it melted most of our snow then the temperature dropped and it froze and the got more snow. All I have to say is thank god for my dependable 4X4, that truck gets me where I need to be. Stay safe & warm everybody.

Tell you, Bob P*ssed me off ...I'm walking through waist deep snow, reach out to grab some hay and fall flat on my face...Crawling around in the snow as he drives off on the tracktor... He turned around in time to see me pulling myself up on the gate...."Did you fall" Then I go get a bale of hay and it's coved with white stuff...I tell Bob it's right here and reach down to get it...He starts to laugh and "no it's not"...Down I went "no bale of hay" and laying there as he walks by to get the bale...AHHH"do you need help" The rest of the day he laughed his head off... chatty otherwise were a doing......

We measured 23inches here in Arlington yesterday, and 24 hours of no electic. My truck is buried and my horses are very unhappy with the small runouts/stalls they are confined to. I'm not a fan of snow, and of course our place is all hills.lol

Well, got my wish for enough snow to go home and play in......Both Sampson & Turtle are standing out in the snow & their blankets are all wet. Silly boys wont stand in their shelters except to eat. I thought Music's old winter blanet would fit Turtle just fine & nope its a little snug so tonight Im stopping by the feed store to hopefully get a bigger one. That horse is turning out to be very expensive......

Chatty you crack me up ; Glad you're OK though. Our poor Bulldog is wide and short, the snow is up to her shoulders and she wants nothing to do with it! We have to pick up 65 lbs of squirming dog to get her to go outside to the bathroom
