The SNOW! I haven't seen snow like this since I was in grade school. I've got solid ice on every surface (roads, sidewalks, porch) and then about 12" of snow covering that ice... and it is *still snowing*! Unbelievable! This is in Redmond, WA.
How are the rest of you guys doing?

Official snow numbers just coming in: 23" - 28" in Spokane and 37" in Coeur d' Alene!!!!!!! It finally stopped snowing now but starts again later tonight, followed by another arctic cold front, followed on Sunday with another storm, followed by another storm. . . You get the picture! Everyone is saying that they've never seen anything like this before! Even the two major shopping malls closed their doors today. Can you imagine. . .the week before Christmas???!!! Nobody can get out.

Well at my place out here in Port Orchard we have a lovely 14 inches as of about 20 minutes ago. It is still snowing lightly but NOTHING like earlier for sure!! Funny thing - we didn't have didly squat for snow until around 8am this morning - that is when it totally turned loose. We only had about an inch or so up till then. And here we were sitting last night being all bummed that everyone else got pounded and we hardly had any LOL HA! Sometimes I guess you should be careful what you wish for! LOLOL.... Sure is beautiful though - and a nice change from rain! My horses had a blast playing - got some really funny little videos of Kadin dragging malibu around by the tail flap on her blanket - going to try ot upload it once I can get somewhere I have high speed Keep warm out there everyone! Sara

Pics from the Oregon Snow. Jim feeding yesterday at HyTyme. Oslo, Hattie and Rimrock in the snow. (You will notice no blanket on Oslo after his ripping incident...brat!) So happy to see his mother! Waiting on the other side of the fence for his breakie. Pic of his pasture in the snow. In the barn with his snowy feet! Ready to go back out after breakie. Back to the pasture! I miss my friends! Showing off in the snow. Winter horse! Back with my buddies. No more letting my mother dote on me!
