Yup. Apparently either Kirsten or Sam transfered the site to a new server and screwed it up. Now they are trying to blame me, but I have all the emails proving that I didn't do a darn thing to it, they did. Seems like they were so paranoid about it being hacked (and since it was my site on my server and they did not have access to the server logs they wouldn't have a clue if it was being hacked or not), that they went and ruined it. It really sucks to put thousands of hours of work into something, have someone else destroy it, and then try to publicly blame you for it. Ironic or Sad? Both I think.
Below is the exact email I sent Sam yesterday on the subject. Since she has publicly slammed me on the new CBER board for holding up the domain transfer, I feel it is my right to post my side of it. She posted on CBER's official BB yesterday: "Tash is the admin on Go Daddy so till she gives the okay we are screwed. She has been e-mailed about this so we see how long she makes us squirm." I have provided her with the transfer email from GoDaddy so that she can see the time line.
Here is what I sent to her yesterday:
Just for the record...
4/19/08 11:09am I receive a request from Network solutions to transfer the domain. 4/19/08 2:07pm I read my email and see the request 4/19/08 2:09pm I approve the transfer 4/19/08 2:21pm I receive notice from GoDaddy of the pending transfer that will be processed in three days 4/19/08 4:37pm I request a fast-track transfer from GoDaddy (it usually takes three days to transfer, I went through extra effort to have it happen immediately) 4/19/08 8:20pm GoDaddy transfers the domain and it is now completely out of my hands.
Sam what you posted was pure garbage and an absolute insult. The domain had been transfered out of my hands ****LAST NIGHT****. You posted that rubbish early this afternoon. Why? I gave you the transfer password for the domain the first week of March. If you guys had transfered it correctly you would not even have needed my approval. Instead you did it wrong and needed my approval and I bent over backwards to make it go through immediately. Then you post that crap on a freaking public board and make it sound to everyone as though I am doing something to hold up the transfer? I have ALL the emails available if anyone would like to see them and compare time lines... including the one from back in March where I gave Sam and the CBER BOD the password for the domain.
If I had wanted to screw with you I could have just kept the website since it belonged to me and not CBER according to your email to me back in February.

Sorry Tash, common tactic, they will never take responsibility for their own actions, too easy to blame someone else. Luckily you can publically prove them as lying again, since you have all the contacts regarding this matter.

As someone who designs and develops websites, and transfers domains on a regular basis, I have to say that Tash did this exactly right. It wouldn't come up with a "Network Solutions" coming soon if she hadn't transferred it as expected. The fact that Sam and company haven't uploaded to their new server isn't Tash's fault. I hope for the horses' sake that this all gets worked out, and I commend Tash for not just taking her website (and robust database beneath it) and going home.

I echo Earlybp. You're a good person, Tash, and even with all you've been through and lost, because I know how much CBER meant to you, you were professional and even kind. I just wanted to commend that behavior in the midst of so much back and forth and mean-spiritedness.
Sigh. It all makes me sad beyond. The blow-ups everywhere, the paranoia and suspicion, and Carol passing. What a crappy 2008 so far.

This is exactly how $am works at CBER. I am sorry this happened to you. I don't know how or why she continues to get away with stabbing people in the back. You are not the only one and I am afraid you will not be the last.

It is "sort of" back up. There was some content that was saved, but I believe it is from last November and before. I get a funny message on each page and have to click on something to actually get the page to come up.

Well....as far as adopters go (especially the ones that I declined) I think I have most of the ones that I processed printed out, and I have access to all of the "declined/approved" emails that went out to the PS's. So hopefully CBER can at least piece that back together and get a list going so that if anyone wants to offer a home the horses will still have a chance.......
I know that on the declined apps...I was VERY detailed about why I turned them down. So for the horses, that is a good thing.
