still a stinker tho... this one just does NOT want to give in to even halter breaking! and she is a big stout girlie!
so, we are stepping up the heat... she is gonna have to learn to be a big girl now, we are putting them in a better paddock so we can get her in a stall and work with her daily... hehe...

our last filly like this just got to a few months old and gave in... she is now a pocket pony, but the lead mare for SURE...

She's a hunk........do you know the sire?? Looks like a draft!!

His name was Rakush. He was a foundation appy we believe...
he was an old man, and died just two weeks or so before baby was born.
he was a leopard, bay appy, hehe...
no draft, but he had the foundation build, very stocky and thick...
and even to the end, in his thirties, sound as can be, not a stitch of arthritis...

the mare is half appy, half TB, her dam was a stocky appy, the sire a gorgeous First Premium Warmblood Sire or something like that... he was Ali Afire, but that was changed
He is a gorgeous Hunter, and lives in Texas now...

so, baby has great breeding... and is going to be gorgeous... but don't think there will be spots... sadly....
but I 'do' think she is Bay... so the baby coat should shed in a few months to reveal beautiful dark legs... :-)
