Ok so I haven't spoken with the woman yet-getting info third hand from someone at work-there is apparently a gal that left her husband and horse, and is afraid the horse won't be properly cared for-so she wants to give it away-18 year old QH mare in the Gig Harbor area, supposedly gentle for anyone.
I have not seen this horse or pix yet-but wanted to get something out there if anyone can help-We have 5 and are full up here. Will talk to the gal and get pix as soon as possible.
She would prefer a 4-H home, but just wants to find a good home for her.

Talked to this gal tonight-seems real nice-but can't take her horse with her in this divorce. She also has 2 small children she needs to focus on at this time. She has had her 8 years, not ridden as much since she had children-but when she is riding regularly, she is comfortable taking her daughter on with her. (she just said when it's been a while-she does some bucking at a canter for the first ride) She said there was a couple that came and rode her this weekend and were comfortable with this-the gal walked, trotted a while- all OK -took her into a canter and rode through the 2 minute bucking that happened (it didn't sound like the mare really put a lot of effort into it) but then she was loping nice circles and doing whatever the gal asked-I said it sounded like the mare was just checking the gal out like the gal was checking her out-no big shocker there huh. She will email me photos in the morning when she gets to work. She 'had been thinking' she would like $1,000 for her but would just give her to a good home-would prefer 4H or FFA . She said the mare is nice around other horses ie; at events and not real 'marey' when in heat. She is 15'2hh and sorrel. Registered QH. She is also real close to us (SCARY CLOSE-WEAREFULLUPWEHAVEENOUGHICAN'TPOSSIBLYTAKEANOTHERWEHAVEENOUGHIAMNOTREADYFORDIVORCEIJUSTGOTMARRIEDWEHAVEENOUGH) Hey-Fiji-she is between me and you-how many you got?  ? will post more tomorrow when I have pictures. For some reason I can't get the pix she emailed me to save in anything other than photoshop so I can't get them on photobucket. If anyone is interested she is probably about 2 miles from my house-I could go take pictures. If you want this gal's email address or phone number-pm me

I just read this why are you doing this to me. If I had more funds I would take her as I only have ONE I just dont think I could afford a second horse right now.

She is on Willow-so close it is scary huh? Let's get our feelers out there and see if we can't find a home for her-Thanks!
