I have an idea, please provide me some feedback I have a source to buy some beautiful horse decorative gift items (statues, paintings, wall hangings, plaques, etc) at wholesale cost. Each supplier does have a minimum purchase of $100. I was thinking of buying and then auctioning the items to support local rescue efforts. We could rotate through participating rescues and share $$ or accumulate the proceeds and use to purchase from the auctions, buy hay, hold clinics.... or is anyone interested?

I think it's a good idea, but risky in this economy. These would be considered "extra," and there might not be much of a market for them.

there are always occasions for people to buy nice affordable gifts, and there are some really nice choices. I am going to look at the items this next week. The lady buys for the hospital gift shop and many items I have seen there are under $25-$30 retail, It could add up, every bale of hay and bag of feed counts.... If anyone is interested let me know.
