What is stock grain? . .or whatever he was used to eating? Never heard of it. Why is it different than rolled oats? Sorry, old school here.

Got the ulcer guard down him already Probiotics, etc. Flushed his mouth, much better. He has major teeth missing, with lots of impacted feed in there!!! He is running around happy as a clam. Drawing blood on him, will see what comes of it...will let you know!

Farley's blood actually came back pretty normal for his age. He is feeling saucy, and has a good appetite now. Kaycee jumped on his back yesterday and walked him around for a few minutes, he LOVED it! He is completely push button, will get pictures this weekend! On a sad note, I lost my old mare night before last to colic. Sally was a good ol' gal, but had a VERY long life of 39 years. She will be greatly missed. I am headed to town to see my Dad, so will post more later......Thanks Sara for all of your help!

OH Chel, I'm so sorry about your old Sally... my Sally Pally is not as old as yours was, it is so hard to watch our old ones pass in pain... I always hope to just find one dead in their sleep but that is so rare... Bless you for taking on this old fella and showing him love... you guys are the best.

Fartley needs a home, husband is wanting to kill me!!! If anybody knows of of a riding program or someone who wants a first time pony then send them my way!! He is feeling spunky and doing GREAT!!! He is completely BOMBPROOF, and is gaining weight quite steadily! I wormed him again today, been taking it EASY with the 2. I haven't gotten pics, will try to tomorrow....it's been a hell week! He is still on the ulcer medications, and DOES have arthritis in his hocks. I thought at first he was walking oddly because of how weak he was, which I am sure exaggerated the issue. He does fine going forward, but side to side has some issues. I have been rubbing his hocks down with liniment and giving him one gram of bute a day per my vets advice. I have also started him on a joint supplement. Spread the word please, if I keep this guy then hub will definitely not let me bring home another in the future! Annie is still here, as is Chippy Whoopsie, guess I have a track record of not re-homing? The gal who helped me rescue these guys wants to euthanize him if we don't find a home.....I would like to give him a shot though, being a little one's first pony.....

Farley is a red roan with a big white blaze down his face. He eats beet pulp, and senior grain with a splash of Alfalfa hay pellets. I also have him on vitamins, equ-see (Selenium supplement), a probiotic and joint supplement. He is on a small pasture, which he loves but still tries to gum hay. He loves to pick leaves out of the Alfalfa mix.

Farley has gone home to his last owner who owned him before he was sold to the camp. He will stay there for the rest of his retirement!! Farley was their sons last pony, and are thrilled to have him back to use for walking their grandkids around on! How cool is that?! The Palomino is getting FAT and will be leaving tomorrow to her new home as well!

Farley is quite happy to be home!! I received an email today, they are really enjoying him So cool that he is now his old owners childrens pony.....The Palomino is leaving in a few minutes, to her new home. She is looking great! She is trained to the hilt, and will be a little girls first horse. She is big enough that the girl will grow with her.....
