Message below was sent to me from a friend who is a member of the Pacific Northwest Ponies Yahoo Group. If anyone has any information, please contact Beth (numbers at very bottom of message).
Posting for Beth K. (not pnp4kidz)-
Pony was rehomed despite solid adoption contract. Has been through 3 horse traders in the last year and a half! She is solid bay, no white markings, except for about a dozen tiny flecks on her back but you cant see them unless she is shedded out. She is a full 13h, maybe bigger now. 4yo mare. Thick mane and tail.
Last contact was owner named Hanna. She lives in Salem, OR and owns 20+ horses. She has children that do rodeo and 4-H. Hanna's email address is no longer working but it was painted1z99@quest.com.
I will pay whatever the people want for her if you find her. I just want her to come home and be safe.
Photos are from horse trader's Craigslist posting. Was told she went to Yelm, WA to be trained for barrels and poles for 4H. Was told the trainer didn't feed her and Hanna lady was going to pick her up. Hanna said I could buy her for $200, but when I wrote back to say we had the money and were coming to get her, received no reply. Have had no communication since December 26th when she said she had to get rid of all her horse's by the end of January.
Please ask your 4H leader if they know a Hanna whose daughter was going to do 4H on this pony! Please also keep an eye out for her at the auctions! I don't want her to go to a kill buyer.
