so after I applied months ago for this possition like back in june. and they finally called ,I was shocked any way i am going to be interviewing for animal control officer.how cool is that ,i am pretty nervous but really want this job as there are alot of needy critters here and alot of them horses that i hope i can make a difference for .anyway just thought i would share .

That's great! Hey, my hubby grew up in Alturas & Canby and I'm from Shingletown (only a couple miles from Viola). I love the climate out there. Hopefully you won't be restricted from doing the right thing by local politics. Rural areas are difficult, to say the least . Good Luck!

hey guys thought i would update you on the interview,sorry it took so long but phone was down.anyway i think it went really well ,and they seemed inpressed so keeping my fingers crossed .when i asked when they might be making a decision they said as soon as they get thier budget straight ,so could be awhile the way things are going but hope not .right now the local police are dealing with the animals brought in cause the last animal control officer retired.
