Ok - So it appears that someone has posted an ad to craigslist FOR me? I have mentioned to a few people that I am struggling to find someone that is a good fit to help with barnwork and whatnot so I can have someone when I go out of town. BUT, yesterday afternoon, Someone posted an ad FOR me..... the weird thing..... The ad pretty much states what I am looking for, outside of the wages it printed. AND - what is weirder.... I am getting responses to MY email? ?? Got a couple of good responses so I did respond to them... BUT -how could that happen? I didn't run the ad and no where in my email is there one of those emails you get to confirm/publish an ad when you run one on craigslist? I emailed craigslist and let them know, since I can't figureo ut how to delete the ad.... anyone ever have something like this happen? Kind of freaks me out..... I have changed all of my security stuff on my computer now and did a scan and can't see if I was hacked or not? although, if I WAS hacked, can't imagine someone would post an ad like this to help me? Bizzare! Sara

OOOH VERY wierd-and scary-let us know what CL says back. They are keeping good records of who does what-esp since that gal had her house ransacked (someone posted that everything inside was free right down to the windows and doors) They should be able to figure out pretty quickly who posted.

Have you seen the ad? Maybe your email addy is posted in it or maybe the original poster is giving it to them and having them reply to the ad Very weird!

No word back yet but the ad looks like it is gone now - I haven't had a chance to talk to hubby yet to verify- he had to leave EARLY for a meeting and didn't get home till late last night (no, he isn't cheating lol!) I am HOPING it is him, but if he did, then wouldn't it have to be through my computer/email and wouldn't I have gotten one of those confirm email things that CL sends???
Don't know... At least it wasn't a rude email or one trying to give my stuff away!

ya, sorry for not re-posting! Guess hubby felt guilty after we had a little squable over me getting some barn help (he didn't want me to at this point) so he used his business account to post it then had teh responses go to my email. I didn't even know that was possible..... lol.
At least all is ok! And even better news? Guess by reading the ad that hubby DOES know me lol....

Ya - I didn't even know he could do that. We have both been busy and been like passing ships in the night, so didn't talk till jsut the other day about it. I appriciate the thought from him......
