Wing Kai is looking for a home. He is a beautiful, stout, 7 yr old 16.2hh off-track thoroughbred gelding. Very warmblood-y -- big bodied, good bone, and uphill. Sweet natured, easy to handle on the ground, big motor, needs a confident rider to give him confidence in new situations.
He has a healed fracture (and a few screws) in his right front -- I don't have the details on that; owner has radiographs. They sent him back to the track, briefly, after the injury, so the consensus was that it healed beautifully and should not cause him any problems or prevent him from a career. He is NOT suitable for jumping, but would make a lovely dressage, equitation, english pleasure or hunt seat prospect. Kai is very sound, and has really beautiful bare feet. He is free to the right home...that means someone who can ride, has the means to keep him for the foreseeable future in this edgy economy, will give him plenty of attention and exercise, and isn't intimidated by a sometimes exuberant 16.2hh thoroughbred.
