oh man, I think I'm going to be sick.........really. I am , wow, at a loss for words. That pisses me off. Really. Heartwrenching. That baby, all alone.....wish I could swoop in that picture and save him. The paint with the eye injur how disgustingly sad, I can't believe they didn't put it down right away. the pain it must be in. was in. Some people really make me want to vomit.

That was horrible. I've seen some bad stuff, but words fail me on this. All that suffering...I can't imagine being the first responder on this accident.

This is how some of the horses arrive at the slaughter houses. These pictures came from the USDA at Kaufman slaughter plant. They were released under the Freedom of Information Act.

I think we should all write our representatives and send the link in our email. Maybe even attach a few pictures. The people who control these horses fate need to be made aware of what they are allowing to happen to our horses. They certainly can't call that humane treatment of horses.

Oh sorry....I thought that was part of the double decker accident. Even though.....it is beyond words, or comprehension.

I knew better than to look and now wish I had'nt. So hard to get it out of my mind. I went straight to the barn and cried and prayed.

I can't look. Pictures get imbedded in my mind forever. I just wish it would all stop. Why do we have to keep fighting this insanity?

I looked, it makes me angry that humans as a species think this kind of treatment towards animals suffering is okay. The babies are what really got to me, so sweet & innocent with absolutely no chance at all.

I do not usually look either, but I made myself do it this time. When my husband came in the house he asked me why I was holding my hands to my head. I could not even explain it without crying. And truthfully, I could not sleep well the first night after seeing them. But I think it was something I needed to see.
Even if you are a pro-slaughter person, you must agree that the way to transport horses is not in a double-decker trailer. They transport rodeo stock this way sometimes too.(Bucking horses) It should not be allowed.
Weather you can look or can not, please take a minute to check to see if your people in congress are supporting this bill. If they are, thank them. If they are not, please ask them to do so. But believe me, if you do look, you will be energized into doing something to help.
The very last picture bothered me the most I think. He or she just looked like it could not believe what happened. It did not even look like it was in any pain. What a shame. Too bad the A-Hole owners of some of these horses did not recognize their own in these photos. They are the ones who should be haunted by the pictures.
