That's so cool! I wish I could say I'd been there because it sounds like heaven ... I especially liked the comment about coming back from a hike to knit by the fire!

Awwww ... I just saw this! I have been so busy with my brother arriving from Utah to live here (I love him so much) and other family members I had never met arriving unannounced and people coming to play with ponies. I feel like I haven't had a chance to sit down to eat for a few days.
If we could get on this map project, the exposure would be unbelievable. And when I say this, I am not joking: many people come here just to meet the horses; all people leave with an amazing respect and appreciation for not only horses, but these horses who looked death in the face and can now laugh. Most people have no idea about slaughter (think it is euthanizing a horse and sending the horse to the rendering plant) and while I have to tame down my explanations most often, everyone leaves knowing the truth. Guests leave with a new perspective and often with a new purpose, all because of the horses.
