sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/grd/1047308711.htmlSounds as if she needs to get rid of her sooner rather than later. Have emailed to offer advise about watching for KB's and send screening questionnaire..... See next post for updated info from seller

Got this response....she's being selective about the potential home, and of course a vet check is always recommened but looks like a possibly good prospect:
"Hi, I had Smarty up for more money but with the economy I had no real inquiries on her. I have turned down 5 people when I met them I could tell there was something not right. I need to find a home but a good one. I am checking out where she would go etc. Smarty has no vices at all...still uses snaffle bit. She has no weight limit my husband and I have both ridden her on trails and she loves to be ridden. It is an injury that does not affect who she is and how she is ridden. There is a little bump on her knee that I think is arthritis which could be the off set on the trot. I have had her on a mild natural gluco supplement which works great and after a month on it you cant see the off set at the trot. I would be more then willing to do a lease option with her, and if someone really loved her I would let them use the cost of her to buy her supplements. But it would have to be a short lease maybe month, because I am moving out of area at end of march, so I could not take the chance of not finding a home for her in such short notice. Smarty has never had any illness or colic. SHe is getting trimmed by the farrier on thursday of this week. She has been in pasture for four months and needs to be ridden. I do have papers from the aqha on her. she is a mare that has silent heats so you never know when she is in. rides well in groups of horses, was used in under 7 yrs of age kids group riding lessons. if you would like to meet her she is muddy but still beautiful call me 548-1271 also she loves a cold can of pepsi on a hot day."
