It sounds like this person is pretty desperate and unrealistic. I hope someone can help her out.
They are cute - the photos are on the original ad. I'm too "low-tech" to post them here.

I have 2 adorable miniatures that I would like to find a temporary home for. Lucy is a 14 year old sorrel mare and Pokey is a 12 year old silver dapple pinto. They are half brother and sister and have been together their entire life (so they must be placed together). They are both up to date on their shots and worming. They are great with kids, they have done programs for the handicap, and are just two of the calmest minis out there. Lucy was shown for a few years, but has retired from pulling the cart, Pokey never really enjoyed it. They are both great at being led, hand led over jumps, or just being pasture buddies. I would consider then living with a normal size horse if it is EXTREMELY mellow. My ideal home would be someone with kids who have interest in horses, parents that have had horses and are knowledgable about what they need, and are willing to pay for most the costs ( I would be willing to chip in for shots and worming). They have been pretty healthy their whole life. Lucy has had colic before, but it was from moldy hay. They do love to eat, and will mow down any pasture, therefor I require no grass pastures because they will get too fat. Their only vice is wood chewing, So there either needs to be hot wire or metal fences. If you would be interested please send me an email. I would prefer someone who could also commit for at least a year. I am not looking to get rid of them, but rather find a place near me that can home them, enjoy their company, and allow me to see them now and then; they are my babies, I just can not afford them up here. Thank you.
