I wish I could adopt right now. I have been getting john convinced that he needs a horse - but, i don't think I can get this one to fly by him since we are already planning to bid on a couple of the Ken McNabb ranch horses. BUT
I have a couple I really like. Obviously they are a mess right now - but I really like
Black Gelding -3821
Bay Gelding - 3840
Bay/black gelding - 3719

Jamie - I know that Kitty Lauman is going to S. Dakota (?) or some god forsaken place like that, in June to pick up a horse, and compete in a shooting event. Don't know how much trailer space they would have, but who better to handle an unhandled horse?

Sorry this is sorta OT, but seeing those horses' pictures brought this "home" to me.  Poor horses. I hope they all find wonderful and loving homes where they never miss a meal or a hoof trim, and can become productive members of our horse society. jt, hope you find a ride for your hopefuls!  |

I need to check on the details but.. I think Lifesavers is aranging transport for 20 horses to So Cal. If you adopt one from HFH they will have it brought to the ranch in Lancaster.

Lifesavers has 20+ mares arriving tomorrow. (Mothers Day, most are probably pregnant) They wanted all big ones only since they are traveling so far they didn't want to mix in foals. (There might be some yearlings with them)
I hear the boys all went to Texas (HSUS) and the other girls went to WY yesterday. (HFH)
Jill says the 20 something Lifesavers is getting will soon be 40.
Jamie I wish you were going to be here next weekend, I talked to Jenna last night and she'll be there!
