I would like to talk to any of the California rescues who are established (long past all of the set up) and currently actively taking in/re-habing/re-homing horses at their own set up (not fostering out). Our 501c3 is filed and pending.... but I have some conflicting info on non profits from my accountant and am wanting to make sure all T's are crossed etc etc.... so am looking to talk to an established rescue. please pm me if you can help thanks....

Hey Belinda, I checked out your website, it looks really good!
It lodes a little slow, when you have the time you may want to resize the photos. As an example the picture of Zaida are sized at 2100 + 1920, that takes up the whole screen even though you,me or we don't see it that way. Then the web browser has to resize to 350 by 279 now that is in fact the size you see on the website.
So you or your web guy may want to resize in photoshop.
Heres the thing when the browers has to do the resizing it slows every thing down, part of your rescue is internet driven, so speed is a BIG factor & some people just can't wait.
So if a viewer has a fast connection it's slow but it's OK, a slower connection will take longer, if viewer is on a modem it may never lode at all.
Call us if you want some help on resizing.
Other then that it looks great!
Amy

Thanks Amy will check into that, strange because both the original file added and the file loaded are not that large. It should not load that size. not sure whats up with that. but will get him to check it and work on the pics.
