I found this website on Craigslist and became intrigued with his methods. I also noticed that Sara had been to one of his classes. I would like to know what people think...and Sara...I would love to know more about your experiences. www.horsecommunication.com/

i Like Dennis alot. He is kind and very very quiet and gentle with the horses. He TRUELY loves the horse. Unlike alot of the natural trainers, he actually is more concerned with teh relationship you develop with your own horse rather than the training. His theory is that once you have the relationship, the rest will follow given due diligence and time.
I enjoyed his clinic - although most of it was stuff kadin already knew he showed me new ways to accomplish it using less pressure than before.
Dennis and I had a little disagreement about my using shavings inside my trailer lol. but, outside of that I like the way he does things. i like the fact that he LOVES the horses - he isn't a trainer per say - he teaches you how to develop the relationship with your own horse!!!

I am curious about the shavings in the trailer thing?? Doesn't he think you should have them?

No - he thinks it will cause your horse to get a resperatory infection. While I agree, if you have an open stock trailer, or anything except a fully enclose type trailer- you shoudl be careful of anything thing that can fly around. But, my big guys make BIG poo and pea int eh trailer and it gets VERY slick. The shavings keep it from getting slick and having him fall. So - we agree to disagree for the most part.
