I stumbled across this ranch with over 200 Appaloosas for sale and was wondering if any members here have visited this ranch.

I did call to find out more. The guy said he has been raising Appys for over 50 years. He said they welcome visitors and have a guest room for them to stay in.
He said some weekends they are away at shows or fairs.
The horses look in good shape in the pictures.
His foals sell for $200 - $300 for solids, $750 - $900 for leopards.

Wow! 200 horses - that is a lot of horses to be flooding an already weak horse market.

But there is some really nice eye candy for Appy lovers.

I'd check the breeding on any horse a person may want to buy from these folks as I noticed most of their stallions have Impressive in their lineage. Too bad HYPP will most likely be inherited by some of these gorgeous Appys.

Read this sad story about a boy and his horse with HYPP. The symptoms of this inherited condition are awful. The horses suffer terribly.

Too sad. The breeders are at fault.........EVERY horse should be tested, and if positive, gelded or spayed.
