Located in the Vancouver, WA area. Well mannered but typical herdbound TB mare, big, sweet, great in a herd, will not beat anyone up but gets her share of the hay. Needs a home that can afford alfalfa, preferably with other TB's/hard keeper types. A permanent placement would be ideal but if you can keep her for a few months, I'll take it. Current owner threatening auction She is not sound enough to ride but is breeding sound and a great mom - could be an ideal embryo transplant host mare - plenty big enough for warmblood foals. PM me if you may be able to help. I know her from when a previous owner had her and like her very much but I am at my limit as I just had to take one of my own rescues back due to the adopter's deployment and his father's job loss. I think she was CBER Annie but that name has been reused a few times. Came off the lot in early 2006 I think.

I'm moving this up so more people will have a chance to see it.
I bet Tash will be able to ID this mare!

She is CBER-Annie from 2005. She originally went to FF. Annie was identified as "Quick Glory" at the time, but this turned out to be incorrect. She is apparently a 1991 brown TB mare named "Stormwatch"... www.pedigreequery.com/stormwatch2

Today the mystery was solved. I misread the first email - she's not Stormwatch, she's Storm FLYER and... was a $25,000 A circuit hunter in Oregon. I'm not kidding. Trying to get her USEF/AHSA name now to get her whole record. She's no longer in danger and no longer a mystery. Happy ending!

so what makes her not sound for riding but sound enough for breeding?

I totally remember this mare. I can see her CBER picture clearly in my head. I hope she finds a home.

I thought the reply above in this thread said this horse was not a cber horse?

No, she is a CBER horse... her feedlot name was "Annie". The only question was what her real registered name is, and that turned out to be "Storm Flyer". There was never any question that she was a CBER horse.
