what was that even all about? He was so obviously a good rider, so, what was that proving?
besides that his horse is a saint and more athletic than most to be still standing after having a huge man fall on top of him so many times...

That horse is a saint! In Pony Club once.........lo-o-o-o-ong time ago, I was offered a friends' horse in a jumping competition. He jumped MUCH stronger than my horse, and I think I came down like this rider 2 times, then he refused to jump any more............."not putting up with THAT!!".

OMG that poor horse. When I first started jumping, I came down on my horse like that once, he dumped my a$$.
I would be so embarassed if I was this guy.
