Does anyone have any suggestions to help.
It was suggested on another board that she seek help from WSU.
Does anyone here have connections with the vet Dept at WSU?
The horse is in Spokane. Is anyone in the area willing to help?

We took in this baby because he is so sweet but has a hernia and the people mentioned killing him (he is not a slaughter horse even the vet said he is worth saving just by his temperment). Now I have found out my daughter needs surgery and I won't have the money to repair his hernia. We have gotten him current on shots and worming had a vet see him and gotten the estimate on his repair. He leads, been loaded in a slant, picks up all his feet good , ties great, and we have been working on his desensitizing, hoping to have a farrier out soon (personal health issues have prevented it). He is a chestnut with a white star born April 2009 from a Quarter horse bay mare about 15h so he should mature around there (no papers). We are willing to give him Free to a home that can show he will be fed well, sheltered, and can and will have his hernia cared for. We have invested time and love in him and want the best for him if interested email and I can answer any questions and provide pictures. No traders or kill buyers need respond. If you think you can help please write.
Thank for looking
