A friend of ours who has worked for years in designing/manufacturing safety equipment (like for firemen) designed these. We purchased two a while back, but they had not been making any more, and now they are!
They make it easy to tighten & check your cinch even while mounted, and has a quick release tab you can pull in a wreck, or when stripping your saddle in a competition (cowboy race, freestyle events..)
It is made with quality durable parts, and is felt backed for comfort. I even bought one of those Aussie Cinch buckles and like this much better.
They are AWESOME for nervous moms with independent kids. I never used to let Beth do her own cinches before we got these. Now all she has to do is hook the cinch ring to the release tab and pull up on the strap to tighten it. I don't even test her cinch anymore since it is so easy to tighten properly.
