We're all pulling for him beejoyful. Just remember, you do the best you can for them and put the rest in God's hands. Try to stay positive and like Wendy said, we are here to help if you need it.

Oh no, Joan, my heart aches for you right now. After all you've done for this horse, what a cruel outcome. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
"....And when the time is right for you to cross the brief divide, I'll rush across to greet you and we'll stand there side by side.
I have so many things to show you, there is so much for you to see. Be patient, live your journey out ... then come home to be with me."

OMG!! That is horrible at least he knew you were pulling for him and that someone really cared more about him than to just let him die at the hands of the slaughter house. Joan you all did a great job and a horse couldn't have asked for better. My thoughts are with you.

I am sorry for your loss, He truly was a beautiful horse and I was just waiting to see him at home. You did so much for him it is hard to do so much and not even have him for long then to have him passaway. You gave him a chance at life and saved him from that horrible ride and frightful death. I am so glad he was taken care of and knew that before he passed.

Oh, gosh...I just read the latests posts on Yosemite.
I am so, so sorry for your loss and the pain and heartache you must be feeling now. But, at least he isn't in pain any more.
And, at least you gave him a good home and LOVE. That's the most important thing.
Again, I am so sorry this happened.

Joan,
You have been thru so much with these horses - I hope you don't give up. Our thoughts are with you.......this can't be easy for you. I am so very sorry. You tried so hard, but it just wasn't meant to be - I don't know why, it doesn't seem fair, but there must have been a more important job for Yosemite...........maybe a little girl needed a perfect horse in heaven..........
Hang in there girl........

Oh Joan, my heart aches for you. You have been through so much with your rescue horses, it just doesn't seem fair. You are such decent, kind people to have given Yosemite a chance at life, not once but twice. He would not have had that without you, and he knew love and felt safe in your care----such a gift you gave him. I am so sorry, I know nothing helps much, and that you probably feel numb and sad and ripped off all at once. I am just so very sorry about your loss of Yosemite. Please pass my condolences along to Greg, too. The world is a richer place because of good people like you two. Katie Moore

Oh my Gosh Joan I am so very sorry I just can't tell you enough how much you are loved and appreciated by these poor guys that would have had no chance at all without you..It just breaks my heart to think you have lost yet another..But please remember what would have happend to him with out you. You gave him the chance that no one else would. His last owner just threw him away like yesterday's garbage. You let him go in peace with people who loved him and were fighting for him..Hugs to you my friend! We who surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own, live within a fragile circle, easily and often breached. Yet we would live no other way, and we cherish memory as the only certain immortality
