TASHGAIA POSTED: I just put up 4 new horses that were assessed today. Chuck told Sam that the truck is supposed to come on Saturday morning and so all the horses must be pulled Friday night. Oh Darn it, theres my Appy that I have been dreaming about.........Our well went out last night so that means that there is a big bill in my near future for repairs. I sure hope some lucky person snatches this one up. He will be a knock out this spring.

michellep, you could take out a loan through the Angel Fund and bring this sweet boy home...we have a flexible re-payment schedule.

I would love to adopt him, but I cant do it right now. The Angel Fund is so tempting, but I know that with this well situation the ability to repay that loan might stretch things too tightly at least until March. I will say my prayers that someone will come along and take this sweet boy home.

Let me go home tonight and talk with my husband, although I have him already renamed and I know that I have a winter blanket that would look so great on him and be a perfect fit. Ok, I have to stop day dreaming now and try and do some work. I will see what is going on tonight.

Once again, I can offer a back-up home for 2 or 3 horses if their funds get raised - I would pay for transport to SD after QT if they don't get adopted by then.

This boy must need even more groceries than it shows with his winter coat if he is going for this price. He is 15.2 hands and only $675. His top line and butt do need some padding. Beautiful legs, imagine this tall varnished red Appy boy all filled out and slicked polished!

I've put an ad up for him at appaloosasforsale.com appaloosasforsale.com/individualhorse.php4?AdID=3208modified to add that when I placed this ad I listed his price to already include the quarantine and $30 hauling fee. I've had a few people who were a bit confused and some had other emotions when I started telling them about the additional fees so I felt it best to put it out there up front for all to see.

I am back, Im at the library using their computer. I almost jumped out of my chair when I saw that he was still on the lot.....Just to give an update on my situation, I talked with my husband and he said as much as he would love for me to be able to adopt this boy, we absolutely need to get bills paid off first. That puts me at least March before I have funds available to me to either pay for him fully, or take out some kind of loan. I was so depressed when I left work on Friday, I cant even describe. I always feel bad when they ship, but this guy so reminds me of my Appy gelding in eyes that it hit me hard. I pray that someone is in a better position than I am right now comes and takes him off to a good home. Or maybe he will be CBER sponsored that would be wonderful.
