I just put up 4 new horses that were assessed today. Chuck told Sam that the truck is supposed to come on Saturday morning and so all the horses must be pulled Friday night.

10 yr old, 16+h, bay TB mare. This is a huge, wide, stout extremely correct bay mare. The old owner told the FLO she was ridden in dressage. She was a bit humpy when Jeff got on her but most likly she has not been ridden for a few years. She is a nice, nice, nice mare. She has a large stride and just came onto the lot today.

The TB mares that are down at the FLO are possibly some of the highest quality horses I have seen come through in a very long time. Sport Horse enthusiasts should miss these! Papers are available but the owner wants $100 for each set of papers. He was not happy being contacted and said that if anyone causes him grief he will insist all his horses are slaughtered. So let either Chuck or I get the papers and do not contact the owner.

Once again, I can offer a back-up home for 2 or 3 horses if their funds get raised - I would pay for transport to SD after QT if they don't get adopted by then.

We all need to come together again for these horses like we did for Otis, Tubby and Fergie last week.

Did you see Sam's blog today? She said that the horses most likely to ship Saturday at the TB's held off of the last load, and, the bigger number ones.

Why isn't anyone helping this mare? We have a back up offer, so what is the hold up? We have 1300 members.......can even just 5% of those members help here? If 65 people donated $10, we would get close enough to Rose's bail to finish it. We have an offer of covering the QT, so what is the holdup???

I am putting my money where my mouth is. I am sending $10 right now by paypal for Rose. If we get lucky with an ad and someone adopts her, my $10 can go to the next high risk horse.

How about it all you members out there. Can $10 really hurt you that much? If we can save Rose, that feeling of supreme gratification will be awesome just knowing we saved her life .
