I really thought she was going last night. She was much calmer and just seemed resigned. Then about midnight or so she was flat out having contractions. Than decided she didn't want to and went and stuck her head outside. She seems more agitated today . . . How's your daughter Beth? |

I think Beth is still heading home, but Jen's surgery went well yesterday. She now has a screw the size of the Empire State Building in her leg Not really,but looked big compared to the piece of bone that broke off. Jen spent last night in the hospital and is coming home today. Yes, Snow... swish, swish, nap, nap..... she's bound to have it soon! Jesus, our barn hand, says Friday. |

We're home, and Snow is doing something SO NEW! standing in the corner... swishing her tail!!! LOL... it's like a time warp!
Jeni is doing great, very little pain, doing good on crutches, and settled into bed to rest... and we need a nap! up every 4 hours for vitals, then midway for potty... and takes an hour to do that and settle back in... leaving two nice hour long naps!
yaaawwwwwnnnnnnnnn...

Hang in there-I just read your signature-laughing here and wanting to print that out. could change a word or two to suit my situation-ie change 'myself' to 'husband'-no need to convince myself-am extremely greatful that I found someone that supports my need to have horses in my life without question-even when we spend more to feed those 4 than the humans in residence here. ;D

Well, it just simply must be before the end of the weekend, because we are going to the State Gymkhana championships on Tuesday for a week!
This AM she looks more uncomfortable and ... different.... So I'm hopeful.

I think she would still hide in the corner and try and make the world go away-wonder how much she knows about what is going on? at least with horses-they show emotion and expression-now my turtle? what on EARTH is she thinking? her expression NEVER changes-she just turtles around the house.
