i think she hiding outside,, why not sure,, then she comes in poos and pees in the corner after they are all cleaned out,,,she she is in hiding rite now,, i thiought baby would be her eby now that for sure,,well it will come when no is looking,,u watch,,,maybe if we beg and chanting fir her she might get the message,,,no more holding on that baby just ket it alll out,,,we are stilll waiting,,,,,,,,{:

Looks like her flank has hollowed out a bit...Hard to tell on cam. She is definitely moving more tonite.

she seems to be moving all around.. in and out.. just hope that she will be in when the babys comes..been a week now and we are just waiting for baby to make he/she apprences...

We let Snow out for awhile in her paddock, then she got some hay outside and that was that. She's in now, but based on the "unofficial" milk tasting test that Beth did tonight, it will probably be tomorrow or Sunday. Dang, these mares drive us nuts!

Taste test?  intersting method lol. Ohhh and if she is munching straw - either give her more hay OR give her a tube of probios or other really good gel probiotic. Dose HIGH - for around 5000 pounds. Will help to settle her stomach a bit. Straw can be really hard on the system....  Sara |

Thanks Cutie, will get some today...
she has free feed hay, and is chosing straw instead...
the corner nearest the camera to the left is all hay...
she is getting about 3 flakes for breakfast, 2 for lunch, and another 2-3 for dinner... then we give her two scoops of stable mix pellets for dessert...
there is continuous hay there, so much now that it's spreading enough to bed most of that half of the stall, I scoop hay out when it gets near the pee spots...
oh and I put down some bedding pellets under the straw in her pee spots...
I can't stand how ammonia smelling it is right now!
the straw just doesn't absorb all of it, so the mats have wet urine spots even after I take out the straw that is wet...
I'll probios her today, THANKS!
and I'll check her milk again ( no more tasting ladies... that was plenty for me... )

yeah-my hubby thought that was a bit much too-but I reminded him that there are places on the earth where horsemilk is part of the diet. (Glad I don't live in Monglia. )

If she leans any further forward she's going to fall on her nose! Beth, you really shouldn't have said out loud that you are leaving Tuesday! You know now that she'll wait until Tuesday night!?! Go tell her that you are leaving tonight! ;D

ummmm, is Snow in labor? She's been flat out and i watched her roll up like she was gonna get up and decided it was too much work and went flat again. I just saw her it again and her vulva is BULGING! but it's hard to tell contraction because of the shadows

toeps, she is making ME crazy too!!!
her moopie bulges when she lays down and she groans the entire time... but she seems to love her naps... like her mommy... :-)
I think I'll go check her when I see feet poking out!
I did a milk check a few minutes ago, it's whiter, but not thicker yet, so by 'milk test' she won't be ready quite yet, but maidens go fast... or slow... never on the timeline!

I'm still watching to see that ole belly drop. She doesn't look to me like that filly has dropped into position. What is her spine doing at the tail-head? Is it jello yet? I'd like to see her take on a few more of the *typical* signs. I'm waiting for dripping milk.
Do you guys have someone to watch her when you go away or is one of you staying home?

she is like jelly near her tail head... and it is much flatter than normal.. she usually has a very heart shaped butt, and it is tail head prominent a bit now.
our ranch hand and his wife are here all the time, so she is in good hands... and we are watching, along with MareStare, who has about 40 people at any given time, and we are getting frequent update calls from those watchers.
Not waxed or dripping yet, milk is opaque now, but I'm waiting for white and thick....

she's laying down now, but looking pretty comfy, not labor like...
