I know Marlene is back but she hasn't gotten caught up yet...she says she has a whole slew of emails to work through. Here on the board we are pretty accurate as to our donations, but if there are funds coming in that are not from our members or Paypal, then we don't know about those. I'm sure we need to keep helping him though.

60 dollars more for Pete toward his bail, OR, he only needs 60 more dollars to be bailed? Em

I never made it to the Horse Symposium on Saturday, because one of my dogs was sick (with diarrhea, I just couldn't leave him that long. He's fine now, as of yesterday). As you may know from reading my update post under Cloud's thread, my vet took 50 dollars off Cloud's bill to treat us to tickets for the symposium. (Very kind and generous of him). Today, since we couldn't make it, I offered him his 50 dollars back, or, I told him I could donate it to a feedlot horse to save its life. He opted for the latter! I'd like to donate the 50 dollars plus pp fees to Pete. But, (any ideas?) I won't have the 50 until next paycheck on February 8th. I'm definitely reliable/good for it. (And maybe even Aleta might make me another certifigift to frame and give to my now not-so-pro-slaughter vet? ) Em

Thank you for helping Pete.
I did a quick ad for him today on CL and got 7 responses, several are very nice possibilities.... I am very optimistic now....I was not going to give up on Pete and thank you for not giving up on him either!!
Thank you Kelly too for always being there for these horses!!

Aleta! As always, huge thanks for all you do for the horses. I know you're so busy, and if you're too busy that's okay, too. There's no rush on this whatsoever, as he's not expecting anything, doesn't even know there are certificates. Please don't take time from something else for it. Thank you for the others, they're beautiful. When I have the extra, I'll donate to a horse in your name to show my appreciation. (Uh oh, but then you'll need to make one for yourself too, lol!) Em ;D

That's funny Em...but that's OK .... I can do one for Me! Keeps me experimenting and fine-tuning this new certificate process.
Also very glad to report I also got a great response to my ad on dreamhorse for Jaz and it is looking good......
When I see these responses to ads, it is just soooo encouraging and so empowering.

Thanks Kelly! Thanks Em! Thanks Aleta for posting the ad! I hope that the positive trend continues! Someone sees the ad and outright adopts him or everyone continues donating and he leaves the lot for a loving place!
