I have e-mailed and tried to get on your forum. No return e-mails and this is the forum response: Dear dean, Our staff has opted not to approve your account, and therefore it has been removed. The following reason was provided for why your account was not approved: Ummmm Im thinking no f**k**g way -- Columbia Basin Equine Rescue cbequinerescue.proboards53.com/index.cgiThis is an automated email. Do not reply to this message, you will receive no reply.
I have 2 CBER horses that Sam stated she would take back and re-home. I want to make note that these horses are now in the public eye. Do not shoot them or send them back onto the slaughter feedlot. Someone from CBER needs to contact me to get them picked up. You are a rescue correct? CBER Kimmie CBER Gleed 206-304-6465

Wow. I wonder who the jerk is who is manning the accounts. First Lorsadoon gets banned, then Leo get's deleted, then you are sent "Ummmm Im thinking no f**k**g way" when you try to register. REAAAAAAAAAAAAL professional, and frankly obviously not Sam. Sam may be a lot of things, but she was always polite.
So, let's take a look at these folks who got the shaft from the CBER board in the last week.
Lorsadoon. Long time CBER adopter and helped CBER more then they can imagine. She stepped up and saved CBER-Morpheus when he was going through the auction. She stepped in and rehomed adoptions gone bad with CBER-Mindy and CBER-Mandy. She helped to bail probably half a dozen CBER arabians.
Leosolis. She was a long time CBER volunteer who stepped out and created her own rescue. Sam posted flowery emails all over the place about how she so supported Shawna and the new rescue. That she wanted the two rescues to work together and all of that.
Dean. Long time dumping ground for CBER horses no one else would take. Just the other day Sam posted on the CBER board that she was sorry to hear that PEC was closing and that if Dean needed any help to just let her know... well, guess not since Dean was banned with that rude message and never even allowed to post for her CBER horses who needed help. Funny how folks like to make big public offers of help, but then won't step up when their offer is accepted and asked for... and instead block the person from even saying anything.
For the record, this is what Sam posted last week... maybe karanoid should have checked with her superiors before she shunted Dean. I wonder what part of what Sam said, indicated to her staff that sending Dean an email that said "Ummmm Im thinking no f**k**g way" when she asked for help was appropriate.

And once again Leosolis, the "deleted one", steps up and offers help for CBER horses. Not in the least bit surprising.

She apparently sent Dean an email through somebody else. Sure hope this will work out for everybody.
Thanks Shawna for willing to take these 2.

Dean, If you can get the horses over to SOS (kennewick) I will find homes for them...no shooting or taking back to the feedlot. Shawna Thank you Shawna. The idea of cber "doing the right thing" at this point isn't very realistic. None of the people now involved will even acknowledge what has been happening. The quote "Those who cannot remember the past, are condemned to repeat it." applies to those that refuse to believe what is directly in front of them as well.

I emailed her when she posted on the board over there asking what was going on. She replied back to me, but made no indication that I was supposed to forward anything... I don't know if I am the RO member she is talking about or if there is another one, but if I am it then someone needs to let me know when they want stuff forwarded. I do not have these horses or have control over them or anything, I am just trying to find places for them to go.
MTA: "her" meant "Shelley", but re-reading my post that might not have been clear.

I hope they dont find themselves in the same hands as LAVENDAR, MEADOW and the many more "RESCUED HORSES" now deceased.

I hope they dont find themselves in the same hands as LAVENDAR, MEADOW and the many more "RESCUED HORSES" now deceased. That is my worry as well. Many horses that volunteers and supporters were told were "adopted" never actually made it to homes. I was so relieved when I saw that Shawna offered to take them. Perhaps these horses being in the public eye will make a difference...perhaps not. They'll just make up another name, like the fictional adopter in New Mexico. I would euthanize first, sad to say. At least that guarantees to keep them out of the slaughter pipeline.

It now appears after speaking with Shelly that they feel the need to involve Animal Control prior to picking them up? I have no idea why. They will not pick them up until they get the OK from someone.
I am not going to take that chance.
Anyone know how to get them to SOS. I do know Shawna WILL NOT put a bullet in their heads, nor will they end up back at Chucks.

Dean, we are still willing to take them I think the main issue was making sure that AC know they were being moved. Penny

According to CBER, any "adopter" owns the horses free and clear and can do with them what they will (hence the "Bill of Sale" they provide). So Dean owns these horses, not cber. If Shawna wants them I assume there is nothing to stop her from taking them.

I hope they dont find themselves in the same hands as LAVENDAR, MEADOW and the many more "RESCUED HORSES" now deceased. That is what I would be afraid of. And why I would NEVER send one of my horses back to them. I am fairly certain that would of been Morphs destiny if he had managed to get back to them.

The offer still stands to pick them up . Penny Not according to CBER Pres as of right now. Apparently they are going to wait for some non-existent authorities to give the OK. Since Dean owns the horses and can do with them as she pleases and since she offered them to CBER they could have simply taken them, not given her excuses and run arounds.

Shelly has called and left a message for Dean indicating we are willing to pick them up. Penny

Doubt that he has any say whatsoever with the horses at the point? Yes.

Yeah...... like AC would have a problem with Dean's horses going to other rescues. They should have a problem with it, if they know it is cber. Remember the mare with her eye hanging out for three days? Then the poor girl got the long trailer ride to Waynes?

Yes. I remember her. Sam told me directly she was at the Rodeo in Ellensburg at the time. No more than an hour away.
